The low-cost SMS delivery has world-wide coverage. NB. you can either send text messages from your mobile phone (your phone will need to be verified first) or not (you can use a domain name, for example, but exact instructions only given in German, though).
Teleworld is a slightly confusing site to use but the free text messages arrive almost immediately. There are many ringtones and low-cost sms services you can also pay for. This is good to know as Teleworld operate a referral program where you get paid for when people you refer spend money!
